Laurel Dutrisac (Practice Owner)
REGISTERED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN, CERTIFIED CANINE REHABILITATION PRACTITIONER, FITPAWS MASTER TRAINER, CERTIFIED CANINE FITNESS TRAINER
As a young girl, Laurel had a need to help animals. Much to her parent’s dismay, she would frequently bring home puppies and kittens. Growing up she always had pets around her and her first memories include a Corgi named Corky and a cat she dragged home from a farm named Ginger.Pets came and went as she grew up and when she went off to college, she took her partner in crime Panda. They were inseparable, she went everywhere with Laurel, including school. As a graduate of St. Lawrence College, Laurel enjoyed 19 years of service to the people and pets of North Bay. She is in good standing of the Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians and is a member of International Association of Veterinary Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy.
Laurel is certified in canine rehabilitation through the University of Tennessee (CCRP). She has earned certification as a Certified Canine Fitness Trainer (CCFT) from the University of Tennessee, and is certified as a FitPAWs Master Trainer in Canine Fitness (FP-MT).
She shares her home with her husband Thomas, and their furry crew Flynn, Pria, and Lucas (The Whippets) Sunny and Klover (The Senior Beagles), Vader the miracle dog and Henry the cat.
Laurel loves providing rehabilitation, fitness and conditioning to the pets of North Bay and is proud to say that it is good to be a pet here.

Kaitlyn Humphries
REGISTERED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN, CERTIFIED CANINE REHABILITATION PRACTITIONER, CERTIFIED CANINE STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING COACH.Kaitlyn joined the Touch Team in 2020 and quickly become a valuable asset with her knowledge, awareness and love of pets.
In addition to her friendly nature and smile, her assets also include her Veterinary Technician diploma, in-depth certification in Canine Rehabilitation from Northern College, her Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification from the University of Tennessee, and experience as a groomer.
Previously she was a team member at a fellow Rehabilitation Centre in Southern Ontario performing Massage, Hydrotherapy and Land-Based Conditioning for dogs from all around Southern Ontario.
When she’s not helping the pets of North Bay, she can be found spending her free time with her family - husband Josiah, toddler Levi and their husky mix Zoe!

Ellen Lee
REGISTERED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN, GRADUATE CERT. REHAB, FEAR FREE CERTIFIED PROFESSIONALEllen completed the Veterinary Technician program and became a Registered Vet Tech in 2013. She worked for several years at a small animal practice in Scarborough before returning to school and completing her Companion Animal Physical Rehabilitation program at Northern College, where she graduated with honours. From there she returned to Southern Ontario where she worked at a rehab facility in Toronto. In that role, she had the pleasure of helping geriatric and post-operative patients feel their best!
Born and raised in Toronto - Ellen spent many summer and Christmas vacations visiting family in North Bay.
She has owned many pets throughout her life including cats, Guinea pigs, birds, rats and first dog Xavier. Currently she shares her home with a Northern Rescue dog, Yuka.
